According to OECD data(https://oec.world/es/profile/country/afg), in 2019 Afghanistan's main legal exports were gold (US$ 968 million), grapes and raisins (US$ 214 million) and resins (US$129 million). An important part of Afghanistan's economy, in any case, depends on a large illegal activity: the country is the world's leading producer of poppies, a plant from which opium and heroin are produced. According to the United Nations, Afghanistan is the world's largest opium producer and its production accounts for 11% of Afghan GDP.
