Pawiis, a Chilean start-up, saw an opportunity in the world of pet care and created a management platform for professionals in this business, such as veterinarians and groomers, who can use it to automate their operations. Pawiis also functions as a marketplace where consumers can buy products prescribed or recommended by professionals online, from medicines to food.

The company, which has received capital contributions from angel investors and Corfo's Ignite accelerator, has closed a new round of capitalization to prepare for its entry into the Peruvian market.
