FinTechs seize opportunities in financial niches that they can serve efficiently thanks to their technology. And in many cases, they offer solutions that have a positive social impact. This is the case of Migrante Sociedad Financiera, the first Chilean FinTech focused on providing loans and financial advice to migrants.

Through technology and the unique scoring they have as a company, Migrante seeks to solve the problem of low access to formal sources of financing for the migrant community in Chile.

Since October 2018, Migrante has delivered loans for more than $6 billion and has served more than 5,000 unbanked immigrants, offering them opportunities to improve their quality of life and start building a credit history in Chile, accompanying them in their financial growth with automotive loans, seed capital for entrepreneurs, revalidation of university degrees, among others.

Migrante has been classified by Endeavor as a high impact venture, awarding them with the Endeavor Scale Fintech Program Award. In addition to this, they are in the process of certification as a B Company, which seeks to provide solutions to social and environmental problems through market forces.

Migrante's main partners have vast experience in the technological and financial world, such as Ignacio Canals, founder of Lemontech, and Diego Fleischmann, founder of AVLA and CrediTú.
