The market capitalization of the world's leading technology companies - Apple, Microsoft and Amazon - is in the trillion (million million) dollar range. If they were countries, their "GDP" would be among the largest on the planet. The software firm MacKeeper made the exercise of comparing these values to illustrate the size of these companies. Thus, for example, Apple would be the eighth largest economy in the world, surpassing countries such as Italy, Brazil and Canada, while Microsoft would be the tenth largest, Amazon the fifteenth and Alphabet the sixteenth.
