We continue to talk about electric cars. And, without necessarily realizing it, they will be more and more part of our daily lives, like the ubiquitous electric vans of Mercado Libre that already roam our streets. So much so that some manufacturers are trying to develop as an accessory something that these vehicles cannot offer: the exciting (for some) noise of a powerful engine.

This is the case of Ferrari and Stellantis. The latter presented, along with its Charger Daytona SRT electric concept model, which will be on the market in 2024, a sonorous exhaust system. Ferrari has also indicated that it is working on creating distinctive sounds for its first electric model, which will be launched in 2024.which will be launched in 2025.

Of course, the sounds in electric cars are not just a matter of "nuts and bolts". Because of the quietness of their motors, regulators in Europe, the U.S. and China have begun to require that these vehicles come with a built-in sound system to alert cyclists and pedestrians to their presence..

Some manufacturers are partnering with renowned musicians to design these sounds, such as Jaguar, which is working with electronic musician Richard Devine for its i-Pace electric model.such as Jaguar, who is working with electronic musician Richard Devine for its i-Pace electric model (you can listen to the sound here ), or BMW, who has partnered with Hans Zimmer, one of Hollywood's most brilliant musicians (you can listen to the sound here). or BMW, who has partnered with Hans Zimmer, one of Hollywood's most brilliant musicians(here the sound of the electric BMW, according to Zimmer).
