A local startup, Voltera(http://voltera.cl/) saw an opportunity and launched a concept of selling electric vehicles with full service (charging, insurance and maintenance) also betting on EV with Chinese standard. The business was born in 2019 focused on bus service in Santiago, but evolved to corporate fleets and, as of this month, to the private user market, with an offer of 13 models from four brands. They already have 50 EVs circulating in Chile, Voltera has already conducted two rounds of financing.
