PROGRAMME: Enhancing climate action environment with an updated Country Programme, strengthening DAE to develop a pipeline of projects and effectively implement GCF funded activities.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CONSULTANCY:

Optimize the operation of the Technical Secretariat of the Green Climate Fund by updating and strengthening the Country Program, as well as following up on key activities and improving coordination related to Chile's climate strategy.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  1. Update Chile's Country Program for the Green Climate Fund.
  2. Incorporate the guidelines and strategic vision of the GCF into national climate action and financing instruments.
  3. Coordinate the operation of the Technical Secretariat and follow up on other Readiness 2021 activities.
  4. Support the Climate Finance Area of the Climate Change Office (OCC) of the Ministry of Environment.
