Home or office?

The hybrid model seems to be gaining ground

With the reopening of the economy and the partial relaxation of the mobility restrictions to which the pandemic subjected us, it is time to face the new work routines. What do employees think about telecommuting versus working in the office? Shared workspace company WeWork and research firm Workplace Intelligence conducted an anonymous survey to find out the perceptions of companies and employees regarding the return to normality. Some of the results are surprising. For example, 64% of employees would pay to have access to office space and 75% would give up at least one benefit to have the freedom to choose their work environment. Seventy-nine percent of companies, meanwhile, plan to allow their employees to split time between the office and remote work, if the role allows it, while 76% say they are likely to give employees a subsidy for working from home or renting a coworking space.
