Fintechs are among the most numerous technological ventures in recent years. It is estimated that the global Fintech market will reach a value of US$320 billion this year.

For this expanding industry, which are the best cities to create a Fintech? According to the Fintech Global Index prepared by Findexable, a research and analysis firm, San Francisco is the best city to launch a fintech, followed by London and New York. Fourth place goes to a Latin American city, Sao Paulo, which tops by far the list of the best cities in the region. Within Latin America, the Brazilian city is followed by Montevideo, in 44th place globally, and Mexico City, in 48th place. Santiago is in 80th place.
