The electrification of transportation continues to advance. According to BloombergNEF, there are now 23 countries worldwide where electric vehicles account for more than 5% of new car sales. Do you know which country sells the highest percentage of electric vehicles out of all new vehicles sold?
ANSWER
Norway. In 2022, 82% of new vehicles sold in the Scandinavian country were electric vehicles. Iceland and Sweden follow. China, however, is the country where the most electric vehicles were sold last year, with 1.2 million, accounting for 16.8% of all vehicles sold.
