Who is bigger in economic terms?

Share

The immense size of technology companies is well known. In many cases, they are larger than a country's economy.

ANSWER

Mexico. Although big tech companies are truly giants, countries such as Mexico (129 million inhabitants) and Brazil (213 million) are even bigger. Of course, when we compare them with medium-sized economies such as Chile, things change: if Amazon were a Latin American country, it would be the fourth largest economy in the region. We can see the proportions in this graph from Latinometrics.
