Artificial intelligence is the hot topic right now. It’s here to stay, and it’s one of those technologies that will change the way we work and communicate. The interest it has generated has been so great that, in the first two months since the launch of ChatGPT—the most popular of these generative AI systems—this tool surpassed 100 million users worldwide. For this reason, we decided to explain what AI is and how it will impact our lives. 

To that end, we are organizing a series of webinars on the topic, the first of which, “Demystifying Artificial Intelligence: A Practical Perspective,” took place this week. During the event, Nathan Pincheira, our chief economist, spoke with Francisco Quiroga, deputy director of the Digital Transformation Office at the Catholic University.
