ArcomedLab: synthetic implants think in Chile

A unique technique in the world that makes craniofacial implants more affordable

Share

ArcomedLab, a healthtech Chilean company that developed a technology to 3D print synthetic craniofacial implants, is planning its leap into the Japanese market. The company, founded by dentist Marcos Skarmeta and prosthodontist Ilan Rosenberg in 2018, has developed a unique technique in which, based on a three-dimensional scan, they generate an image with which they design and print the customized implants on a 3D printer.

This technology makes it possible to significantly reduce the price of implants and the time they are available. The startup already has more than 400 implants installed in Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Spain. Its plan is now to reach Japan.
