The memory of any electronic device is one of the key factors users consider when choosing a cell phone, tablet or computer, to name a few. Today, like so many other things, it’s taken for granted, at a barely marginal cost. But did you know that in 1956, one megabyte of memory—which today costs one cent—cost no less than $100 million? This has been the impact of the famous Moore’s Law on our daily lives. Reality surpasses science fiction.
